Hi! We’re Nathan and Whitney Russell—but most people call us Nate and Whit.

One of us is calm, collected, and brings a little peace into the world. The other lives life like a roller coaster—hands up, eyes closed, and leaving a trail of joyful chaos behind. We’ll let you figure out who’s who.

We may be new to the coffee world, but we’re certainly not new to loving people, building community, creating fresh spaces, and turning up good music.

Yo Bro was dreamed up in our living room just one year ago. With one of us carefully considering every detail and the other yelling, “Let’s just do it!”—we grabbed hands and started chasing this dream together.

At home, we have a circus full of kids and animals, so a certain level of noise follows us everywhere we go. Jesus leads us in everything we do, and we believe we’ve only scratched the surface of what He has in store.

Coffee deets: Nate is a classic cappuccino guy, while Whitney will choose an iced matcha latte every single time. So whether you’re ordering from the coffee side or the green-drink side of the menu, we’ve done plenty of taste-testing and have you covered.
